hello! thank you for coming to my online thought book/creative space/personal blog.

hi, i’m mazarae! he/xe/dey/all but they or she pronouns, depending on the day. i’m a Black, African/Ghanaian, genderfluid, mentally ill, disabled, queer, ace & aro spectrum [aroflux and maybe aegosexual], polyamorous, polyaffectionate individual, currently residing on Quinnipiac, Wappinger and Paugussett land.

this is mostly a space for me to share stories, music, thoughts, insecurities, prayers, and whatever else happens to be on my mind. the only “goal” is for me to authentically share–something I feel is lacking in some parts of my life. I want to be open and honest with myself, willing to make mistakes, hold myself accountable for the impact my thoughts, actions, and privileges have on the world, and learn. I believe reflection is necessary for growth, and we are always growing.
